All members of the ABC lab are required to follow our Code of Conduct.

Prospective Undergraduate Students

Whether you would like to volunteer your time or earn credit toward an internship, we welcome the support of undergraduate students in the Animal Behavior and Cognition Lab. Tasks may include animal handling, experiment construction, data collection, and video coding. While some projects may require prior animal handling experience, entry level positions are also frequently available. Please contact directly the graduate students with whom your research interests align to inquire about current opportunities available.

You will need to provide a resume/CV to apply to a volunteer/internship position and a list of times that are available in your schedule. Cover letters are not required but are encouraged (it’s good practice!). For tips on building your CV, see examples here.

If you are interested in completing an individual project with this lab (for honors, practicum, etc.), please note that two quarters of experience and training as an intern/volunteer are required.
